Viking Life
Help a Viking village after an attack by Harald Finehair.

It is the end of the 9th Century and the action takes place in a Viking village on the west coast of Norway. After an attack by Harald Finehair, the villagers are forced to create a new Viking community.

The children will create a role as a young Viking, with an authentic name, a useful trade and the skills needed to survive another attack. Their dilemma is, should they stay or should they make the journey across the sea to Jorvik?

This highly interactive drama workshop will focus on skills, customs and gods of the Vikings and give the children some understanding of why they chose to leave Norway
