Victorian Toys
In the toy-maker's workshop, learn about
toys children played with 150 years ago.

The action takes place in Victorian London. The children are in role as young apprentices to Mrs Pollock, wife of the famous Victorian toyshop owner, Mr Benjamin Pollock.

After learning some well-known Victorian parlour games, the children handle and examine a large selection of wooden, tin and cloth replica toys, to discover how they work and how they are made. They then experience Mr Pollock’s famous Toy Theatre in action.
