The action takes place in Victorian London. 
The children are in role as young apprentices to Mrs Pollock, 
wife of the famous Victorian toy shop owner, Mr Benjamin Pollock. 

After learning some well-known parlour games, the children handle 
and examine a selection of wooden, tin and cloth replica toys, 
to discover how they work and how they are made. 

Their challenge is to re-create these toys and their reward 
is to experience Mr Pollock’s famous Toy Theatre in action.
