Victorian Britain
Experience life as a London Mudlark, a factory worker and a charity worker

The action takes place in mid-Victorian London. The children are in role as Mudlarks, scavenging for anything washed up by the River Thames. They encounter a rich charity worker who takes pity on them and endeavours to help them make a better life for themselves, with the help of her friend Dr Barnardo.

In role as poor Victorian orphans the children have fun creating an authentic character while learning about the plight of such children and the pioneering work begun by Dr Barnardo in his first Ragged School.
