Travel in the past
Re-create an expedition of discovery
before the invention of a motorised vehicle .

The action takes place in Late Victorian London. The children are in role as young trainee explorers, recruited to travel abroad to find a beautiful rare flower. Guided and trained by an eccentric Victorian explorer, their challenge is to choose a suitable method of Victorian transport to make their journey.

Bicycle, railway, sailing ship, coach & horses or donkey?

The children have a lot of fun in role on their adventure, whilst learning everyday facts about Victorian travel at home and abroad.

“We have a long history of working with you and find you far and away the most interactive and accessible organisation for our children.”
Jane Braithwaite, Stanley Infant and Nursery School, Twickenham

A one hour workshop for up to 30 children
