The Elves and the Shoemaker
From the original tale by the Brothers Grimm

Madame Chausseur has been making fine shoes all her life but she is getting old now and needs help. If only she could be as lucky as her father: his business was saved by some rather unusual visitors.

Hear her tale of the little elves who came every night secretly to make wonderful shoes.

With costume, props and set, the children will help Madame re-tell this magical tale, taking on the roles of the shoemaker, his wife, all the characters in the village and the little elves who saved the day.

"What an amazing show! It was interactive and involved so many children. The length was perfect for KS1 and, more importantly, the children loved it! Thank you..”
Hannah Rootes, Allington Primary School, Maidstone, Kent .
